Pediatric Endoscopy RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Orange, California
• Day shift: 4x10s, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 13-week contract
• Start date: must be able to start 9/14
• Fast-paced procedure center setting with inpatient and outpatient pediatric patients; adults are seen rarely

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
• Endoscopy experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Experience in an Acute Care or Outpatient setting
• ENT Surgery experience
• Plastic Surgery experience
• Ophthalmology experience
• Urology experience
• Oncology experience
• Pulmonology experience

Required Certifications

• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association

Schedule Expectations

• Call required
• Weekend coverage required
• No floating

Clinical Focus

• Minor surgical cases may include ENT, plastics, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, and oncology
• Endoscopy experience is preferred enough that training may be provided if needed
• GI and pulmonary experience are part of the role’s clinical mix
