Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (4x12 hours, 18:45–07:15)
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Yes
Scheduling Type: Self-scheduled
Unit Orientation: 24 hours
Scrubs: Navy blue or white

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience (minimum 2 years), including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Colostomy/ileostomy management and care
Pre/Post Hemodialysis management
Central line blood draws, phlebotomy, and PICC line management
Chest tubes management including Emerson and PleurEvac systems
BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
