Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 9 weeks

Job Details and Responsibilities

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:15 PM (37.5 billable hours per week)
• Must have diabetic care experience
• Consistent attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to maintain flexibility while on assignment
• Must be able to "hit the ground running"

Required Qualifications

• Valid LPN / LVN license in Washington
• Minimum of 1 year of School Nurse experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Criminal background check within 1 year of start, updated annually (includes multiple searches covering last 7 years of residence/work/school)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Washington OSPI fingerprinting required; candidate responsible for completing per state instructions
• WA State Patrol Search within 12 months of start
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Mandatory Reporter Training certificate required (must be updated annually)
• Various accounting and employment documents required (e.g., W4, I9, Direct Deposit Authorization, Emergency Contact Form)
• Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgment required annually

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam, TB testing, immunizations (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella), drug testing, and flu vaccination are not required by default but may be required by the client or state.
• If applicable, negative TB or chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire may be required.
