Cath Lab Tech Travel/Contract Job - Prestonsburg, Kentucky

Job Summary

Seeking a Cath Lab Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology for a travel/contract position. The role involves working in two Cath Labs with rotation in the EP Lab, performing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday with one rotating weekday off each week
• Call required 8-15 days per month and 1 weekend every 3 weeks
• Must respond within 30 minutes for STEMI alerts
• Call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 Rad Tech

Responsibilities

• Table panning and scrubbing for diagnostic and interventional cardiology cases
• Assist with devices/tools including Shockwave, Balloon Pump, Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, ACIST injector
• Assist with device implants such as Pacemakers and ICDs (single, dual, Bi-V), peripheral diagnostics and interventions
• Cross-training available in EP (ablations); EP experience preferred
• Procedures use both radial and groin access
• Approximately 8–10 procedures per day and 6–8 STEMI cases per month
• Scrubs and lead apron provided

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Kentucky
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
