Overview

• Role: IMC/Tele RN
• Department: PCU RN
• Location: Weston, Wisconsin
• Facility: 30-bed unit

Schedule

• Shift: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Hours: 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday
• Call/standby: Yes
• Self-scheduling: No

Patient Care Environment

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4, may stretch to 1:5 if sick call or added CNA support
• Common patient types: Cardiac, NSTEMI, post cath lab, afib, CHF, GI bleed, detox, respiratory distress, sepsis
• Telemetry: Tele techs are present and read strips
• Respiratory equipment on unit: CPAP, BiPAP, Optiflow
• Charge nurse assignment: Charge RNs take 2 patients
• Nurse aides: Yes, ratio 1:10/12 depending on census

Required Qualifications

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, EKG Course
• Skills: Management with IV nitro, heparin, diltazem, and amio
• Drip titration: RNs are required to titrate drips

Preferred

• Experience: Post cath lab experience
• Skills: Art line experience

Floating

• May float to MS or IMC overflow in ICU

Orientation

• Up to 3 days

Additional Notes

• Navy blue scrubs
• Must note if the clinician has ever worked for Marshfield; if previously worked there, there must be an end date 6 months prior to submission
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
