Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Kentucky

Job Details

• Location: Bardstown, KY (work at two locations approximately 28 miles apart)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
• Patient Load: Approximately 6 patients treated per day
• Work Setting: Home Health
• Dress Code: Professional

Required Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of Speech Language Pathologist experience within the last year
• Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) via ASHA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Experience in a Home Health setting

Common Patient Diagnoses

• Stroke (CVA)
• Aphasia

Orientation & Training

• 2-week department-specific orientation with a work coach
• Phone and tablet will be provided for documentation

Additional Information

• No weekend or holiday work required
