Location: Portland, Maine
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 48
Unit: 37 Bed Level 1 Trauma Center


Job Description

  • Provide circulating nurse support in multiple surgical specialties including General, GU/GYN, Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, Neurosurgery, Open Vascular, ENT, Dental, Pediatric Surgery, and Da Vinci Robot-assisted procedures.
  • Weekend coverage required on a 1:4 schedule with 12-hour shifts.
  • Charge nurse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Must be flexible, accountable, a team player, and punctual.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Maine
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients

Additional Information

  • Position is for night shift charge RN coverage with limited ability to cover charge 7 nights a week.
