Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a night shift travel position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of trauma OR experience and a Maine or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based OR setting at a 37-bed Level 1 Trauma Center
• Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Expected to circulate in multiple service lines including General, GU/GYN, Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, Neurosurgery, open vascular, ENT, Dental, Pediatric Surgery, and Da Vinci Robotics
• Weekend requirement: 1 in 4, 12-hour shifts
• Float requirement: candidates may be required to float between facilities within a 25-mile radius as needed

Requirements

• Active ME RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of OR trauma experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Charge RN experience is a plus
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Candidates must be flexible, accountable, a team player, and punctual
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at the time of application
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and are subject to a different bill rate
• Local candidates are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• Personal electronic devices including AirPods, laptops, and cell phones are prohibited on the unit
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered for this position
