Job Opportunity: Certified Surgical Technician (CST) - Operating Room

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Work in a Level II trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center and Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
• Participate in a busy robotic surgery program and support various surgical service lines including general surgery, gynecology, robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
• Operate within a hospital recognized for high clinical quality, patient safety, and nursing excellence.
• Variable schedule with call requirements; may float to other departments as needed.
• Documentation system used: Cerner.
• Facility provides scrubs as the required uniform.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Assessment of surgical technologist skills or knowledge of hazardous drug risks as per USP 800.
