Overview
- Travel RN position in Portland, Maine.
- Unit: R6.
- 26-bed unit.
- Shift: 7P-7:30A or 7A-7:30P.
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
- Call: no.
- Float: as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maine.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Med Surg experience within the last year.
- 2 years of Med Surg experience.
- Neuro experience required.
- Neurosurgery experience.
- 2 years of experience in the job’s specialty.
Unit / Patient Population
- Patient ratio: 1:4-5 on days; 1:5-6 on nights.
- Patients include neurosurgical patients, seizure disorders, VP shunts, head bleeds, traumatic injuries, and joint replacement surgery patients.
