Overview

• Travel assignment in the Operating Room
• 2 openings
• Variable schedule, 5x8
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call as needed by facility
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid CVOR Technologist license in Arkansas
• CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
• CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS
• Driver's License
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience

Preferred Qualifications

• CST certification
• Multilingual
• Ophthalmology or eye experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sterile field and patient safety standards during perioperative care
• Obtain needed supplies and equipment
• Assist the registered nurse during the intraoperative period
• Assist the surgeon during operative and invasive procedures
• Prepare the operating suite for procedures
• Monitor PAR levels of surgical instruments and supplies
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments
• Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities
