Job Opportunity: RN - ICU (Travel)

Location: Clyde, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

  • Unit: ICU
  • Number of Beds: 12
  • Patient Ratio: 2:1
  • Patient Population: Adult
  • Shift: Rotating weekends
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Float Requirements: Occasionally float to PCU
  • EHR System: Paragon

Required Qualifications

  • License: Registered Nurse (RN) license for North Carolina
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification
  • Education: Associate’s degree in Nursing
  • Experience: 2 years ICU experience (higher value between 1-2 years)
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Clinical Focus

  • Common diagnoses and treatments include:
    • Sepsis
    • COPD Exacerbation
    • Hypotension urgency
    • Hypertension urgency

Additional Information

  • Orientation is bi-weekly
  • Dress code: Navy scrubs; no excessive piercings or unnatural hair colors

This position is ideal for an experienced ICU RN seeking a travel assignment in a well-equipped facility with a focus on adult critical care.
