Unit Information
- Type: Rehabilitation
- Beds: 41
- Staffing:
- Day Shift: 4 RNs, 5 LPNs
- Night Shift: 4 RNs, 4 LPNs
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Equipment: Patient lifts, iSTAT, glucometer, inhalers/breathing treatments
- EMR System: Meditech Magic
Required Qualifications
- License: Registered Nurse License
- Certifications: BLS required
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years as an RN in specialty
- LPN Requirement: Must be IV certified (for LPN candidates)
- Preferred Certifications:
- CRRN (Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse)
- ACLS (within 90 days of hire)
- Skills:
- Ability to read telemetry
- Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in post-acute setting
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in rehabilitation care plans established by interdisciplinary team
- Perform lab draws, administer IV medications and blood as needed
- Conduct head-to-toe assessments
- Educate patients and family members on care plans and rehabilitation programs
