RN NICU - Oklahoma City, OK

Job Summary

Provide nursing care to patients with a range of health problems from simple to complex under general supervision.
Responsible for an assigned group of patients.
Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments.
Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
Monitor physiological data and intervene as necessary.
Administer medications and regulate intravenous infusions and blood products.
Deliver competent patient care and communicate care plans to patients and families.
Make referrals regarding patient care needs.
Delegate tasks to support staff.

Shift & Hours

Night shift: 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
12-hour shifts, approximately 36 hours per week

Contract Length

13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP

Experience

Minimum 1 year of NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
