ICU Registered Nurse

Location

New York, New York

Contract

5 weeks
Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Schedule: 3x12 with every other weekend; a 4th shift is required per month

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
2 years of critical care or telemetry experience
2 years of RN experience
1 year of travel experience

Experience Preferences

Prior travel experience is required for travel positions
EPIC experience is highly preferred

Staffing ratio: 1:2

Key Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care in the ICU
Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team on care planning and evaluation
Educates patients and caregivers
Supports patient experience initiatives, quality improvement, and safety practices
May perform charge nurse duties
Documents care accurately and thoroughly
