Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Baby Friendly experience
Role Overview
- Provides and coordinates individualized nursing care for labor and delivery patients
- Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and updates patient care
- Collaborates with physicians, families, and the care team
- Supports discharge planning and patient/family teaching
- May serve as preceptor and charge nurse
- May be assigned to other nursing units as needed
