<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and clinical interviews.</li><li>Review available records and evaluate inmate mental health status.</li><li>Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and functional levels.</li><li>Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to assigned caseloads.</li><li>Conduct regular rounds in segregation and other restricted housing units to assess adjustment and mental health needs.</li><li>Deliver crisis intervention services, mental health assessments, and confrontation avoidance counseling.</li><li>Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, nurses, social workers, and other clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.</li><li>Consult with psychiatry, nursing, medical, educational, chaplaincy, security, and other departments regarding behavioral concerns and changes in mental health conditions.</li><li>Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.</li><li>Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><h2>Required Qualifications</h2><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience.</li><li>At least one (1) year of experience in a comparable psychologist role.</li></ul><h3>Licensure &amp; Certifications</h3><ul><li>Current, unrestricted license to practice Psychology in the state where services are provided.</li><li>Must be at least <strong>Board Eligible</strong> to qualify for privileges.</li><li>Valid driver's license.</li><li>Current BLS - AHA certification</li></ul><h3>Required Skills</h3><ul><li>Cognitive Psychology</li><li>Psychological Assessment</li><li>Individual Counseling</li><li>Crisis Intervention</li><li>Treatment Planning</li><li>Behavioral Health Evaluation</li><li>Interdisciplinary Collaboration</li></ul>
