Registered Nurse - NICU (Travel/Contract)

Location: Bellevue, Washington
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:45 - 07:15)
Contract Length: Up to 16 weeks (manager open to 8, 10, 13, or 16 weeks)

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
• Must be willing and able to float to Childbirth Center Units
• Schedule requires 5 days or less of Return to Office (RTO)
• No blocked schedules accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington state
• Minimum 3 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• At least 1 year of prior travel nursing experience
• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements

• Provide at least two satisfactory references from previous employers within the last year, including evaluation of clinical competency and reliability (references must be from manager, supervisor, or charge RN)
• Complete and submit an employment application
• Must comply with Washington state-specific background checks, including state police and court searches

Start Dates

• July 6 or July 20

Notes

• Floating to Childbirth Center Units is mandatory
• Facility monitors completion of assigned modules closely; failure to complete may result in removal from schedule
• No blocked schedules accepted; flexibility required

This position is ideal for experienced NICU RNs with prior travel nursing experience seeking a night shift travel contract in Washington state.
