NICU Travel Nurse Job
Location
- Edmonds, Washington
Job Type
- Travel/Contract
- Day shift, 3x12 hours
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Specialty Details
- Level II NICU
- Admissions include normal newborns and babies 32 weeks or greater
- Float as needed
- Not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless already competent in that area
- Responsibilities include attending vaginal and cesarean deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and using CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- CLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Notes
- Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify
- Float policy acknowledgement is required
- Washington state background and registry requirements apply as applicable to the assignment
