Admissions include normal newborns and babies 32 weeks or greater
Float as needed
Not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless already competent in that area
Responsibilities include attending vaginal and cesarean deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and using CPAP/BiPAP, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
CLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Additional Notes

Previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify
Float policy acknowledgement is required
Washington state background and registry requirements apply as applicable to the assignment
