RN Operating Room

Overview

Travel/Contract RN Operating Room assignment in Chicago, Illinois.
4x10s, 6:30p-3p.
No block scheduling.
Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Level 1 Trauma Center.
Charting system: Cerner.

Schedule

Call: one shift per month on a Saturday or Sunday, 7A-7P or 7P-7A; no weekday call.
Weekend requirement: every other weekend / 2 weekends per month.
RTO: up to 5 days max, no more than 2 consecutive; no holiday RTO; no RTO the day prior or after a holiday; no RTO on weekends.

Float Scope

Mandatory float facility; resources are required to float at the facility’s discretion.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
2 years of experience in Operating Room (OR).
Operating Room experience within the last year.
Experience working in an Acute Care setting.
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
Orthopedics experience.
Vascular Surgery experience.
Neurology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Scrub experience in all other areas.

Location Requirement

Locals accepted; locals preferred.
Must live within 75 miles of the facility.
