Travel/Contract role in La Jolla, California
13-week assignment
Variable day/night schedule, 3x12 shifts
Start date: October 26 only

Unit / Assignment Details

Assigned to the Scripps La Jolla NICU
NICU Level 3
20 staffed beds
Must work 2 of 3 holidays, including eves
Must be available to work weekends with full flexibility; unit may schedule travelers 3 out of 4 weekends in a 4-week period
Floating mid-shift is required on occasion, with notice prior to shift
Float locations include Rady Main Campus, Scripps Encinitas, Rancho Springs, Palomar, and Scripps Mercy
Will remain in NICU and not float within scope to meet facility needs
Mileage reimbursement is provided for floating to sister facilities

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience
CTICU - Cardiothoracic Intensive Care experience
Med Surg experience
Experience with Epic
