Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Charleston, South Carolina
- Night shift: 3x12s, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- First-time travelers accepted
- Traveler may float within scope to meet facility needs
- Local candidates accepted within 60 miles
Schedule
- 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
- Holiday rotation
- Block scheduling may be accommodated at manager’s discretion
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in South Carolina
- CVPICU (2 years of experience)
- CVPICU experience within the last year
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Cardiovascular (CV) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- VAD experience
- ACLS certification
Unit / Patient Care Details
- Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 based on acuity
- Pediatric cardiac intensive care setting
- Cares for congenital heart disease and complex cardiac patients
- Common therapies/procedures include cardiac surgery, VADs, heart transplant, cardiac catheterization, ECMO, and CRRT
