Home Health Registered Nurse

Location

• Lacey, Washington

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Travel/contract role
• Day shift, 5x8 hours
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Guaranteed 30 visits weekly

Setting and patient population

• Home health
• Geriatric cases
• Average census: 5–7 patients per day

Required qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Home Health (1 year of experience)
• Home Health experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Experience with Homecare Homebase
• Experience with OASIS

Key responsibilities and expectations

• Charting must be completed by 9:00 AM the following morning
• Must be flexible with territory coverage
• Timely documentation and communication are required
• Territory may extend up to a 60-mile radius from the hub/office

Work conditions and logistics

• Local candidates are accepted
• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• iPad is provided
• Cell phone is not provided
• Scrubs of any color are allowed; jeans are not allowed

Compliance and onboarding items

• Background check and state/federal screening requirements apply
• Annual and pre-start health documentation is required
• Fit testing is required
• Proof of auto insurance is required for home health positions
