Job Opportunity: Oncology Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for a travel/contract position with a schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with Wednesdays off. The role primarily involves infusion nursing with approximately 70% oncology-based therapy and 30% blood transfusion, IVIG, hydration, and iron administration.

Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in oncology infusion or related specialty
- First-time travelers accepted only if they have chemotherapy certification and 2+ years of experience

Required Certifications and Licenses
- RN License: Valid California Registered Nurse license required
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Chemotherapy Certification (CHEMO CERT) - mandatory for this position
- Other certifications may be required based on unit or specialty (e.g., ACLS, PALS) but BLS and CHEMO are mandatory
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to provide documentation for:
- Background checks (including multi-state and federal checks)
- Drug screening (10-panel within 90 days)
- Immunizations and health screenings (e.g., TB test, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu vaccine, COVID vaccine or declination)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start date
- Respirator fit testing (for travel candidates)
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules and facility-specific training prior to start
- References: Minimum of 2 supervisor references covering at least 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
