Overview
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Charleston, South Carolina
- Employment type: Travel/Contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Rotating 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- On-call: Not required
- Float scope: May float to like units within scope
- Start: December
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)
- ARRT (C)
- SCRQSA
- BLS
- Experience with PACS
Preferred
- First-timers accepted, but not preferred
- Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams in both modalities
- Siemens equipment
- Epic
- PACS
Facility Notes
- Teaching hospital
- Magnet, Teaching, and Level 1 Trauma
- 865 staffed beds
- Scrub color: teal blue top, black bottoms
- Parking is paid for nights and weekends; one-time $20 parking pass fee
- Hurricane season may require assignment to emergency response teams from June through November
Additional Compliance Items
- Proof of 2 clinical references
- Complete application/resume
- Skills checklist for applicable unit
- Physical exam
- Fit test within 90 days of start
- Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Annual TB questionnaire
- Rubeola, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
- 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccine documentation or exemption, if applicable
- Background check and state exclusion list
- Work history verification
- Radiation exposure attestation if a radiation badge is required
