Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
1 year of Emergency Department experience
Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS
PALS issued by American Heart Association
TNCC
NIHSS

Unit Details

68 beds
Typical patient ratio: 4:1
High-acuity trauma setting with stroke, STEMI, and burn patients

Preferred Experience

Trauma/pediatric experience
Experience with 200+ patients per day
High-acuity experience

Work Environment

Busy urban trauma center
Black scrubs required
Unprofessional attire and jeans are not allowed

Physical Demands

Standing and walking most of the shift
Lifting and pushing patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs
Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 15 lbs
Kneeling, crouching, and crawling may be required
