Unit Details
- Unit: Operating Room, 1st floor, Main building
- Number of beds: 15 OR suites
- Number of staff: 68
- Day shift staff: 1 charge, team leads, circulators, techs, anesthesia techs, PCAs
- Night shift staff: 1 charge and 1 CST in house
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Typical procedures: Ortho, burn, plastics, gyn, urology, spine, trauma, general, robotics
- Equipment: OR service line equipment for the same specialties listed above
- Unit guidelines: Follow AORN guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Operating Room experience: 1 year minimum, within the last year
- Trauma experience, specifically in the OR: 1 year minimum
- Orthopedics experience: 1 year minimum
