Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Radiology

Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4 x 10-hour shifts
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours

Job Description

• Assist radiologists and performing physicians with interventional and special procedures such as myelography, hysterosalpingography, arthrography, GI procedures, and general x-ray procedures using portable equipment, fluoroscopy rooms, and general x-ray rooms.
• Perform surgery procedures using C-arms and O-arms.
• Provide essential patient care during exams.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Take OR call when necessary (every other weekend and holidays during contract).
• Night shift orientation occurs on day shift; availability for the entire orientation week is required.

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Special Procedures Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience as a Radiology Technologist.
• Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Work Environment & Additional Details

• Weekend and call requirements as determined by the facility.
• Float requirements as needed by the facility.
• Dress code: Black scrubs.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
