MRI Tech - Radiology (Travel)
Location: Anchorage, Alaska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Primarily day shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), dependent on department needs
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Approximate number of beds: 185
- Staff: 2 PRN and 1 tech cross-trained
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI
- EMR systems: Epic, McKesson PACS
- Typical procedures: MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, defecography, anesthesia, pacemakers
- Dress code: Scrubs in grey or pewter
Required Qualifications
- ARRT (MR) Certification
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Training on the Epic EMR system or education specific to the Mountain Division or an assessment for MRI Technologists or education on USP 800 regarding hazardous drug risk
- Self-starter, self-motivated, patient-centered with strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality imaging

- No floating assignments
- Night shifts currently have no coverage; primarily recruiting for day shifts
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this role
