Travel RN Opportunity - Operating Room

Location: Hickory, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
Department: Operating Room
Number of Openings: 4-5
Shift: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (6:45 AM - 5:15 PM)
Call Requirements: 7 days per month (including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday); weekend call only
Patient Population: Adults primarily, minimal pediatrics (outpatient only)
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Unit Beds: 13
Equipment Used: Robotics (DaVinci), Mako, Holmium Laser, Hana table
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Cerner

Requirements

Licensure: Registered Nurse License (RN)
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience: Minimum 2+ years in specialty (Operating Room)
Must Have: Robotics and spine experience, prior OR experience
Preferred: Orthopedics or Neurosurgery experience
Float Requirements: None

Additional Information

Orientation occurs twice monthly
Facility includes multiple specialty centers (Brain, Cancer, Heart, Lung, Orthopedics, etc.)
On-call schedule includes one weekend and 8-9 weekday calls in a six-week rotation
Dress code: Scrubs provided via hospital laundry service; outside attire not allowed

This is a travel assignment; candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates.
