Required Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school approved by CAPTE
• Current Maryland state licensure or eligibility in Physical Therapy Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• At least 1 year of hospital acute care experience preferred; new graduates with strong acute clinical rotations will also be considered
• Strong skills in flexibility, time management, leadership, and communication
• Experience with documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality physical therapy services according to treatment plans
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate, timely records
• Oversee compliance of department documentation
• Participate in a positive work environment promoting teamwork and communication
• Conduct patient and family education
