Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description

A hospital in California is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist for a travel contract. The role involves working primarily with adult inpatient acute care patients, as well as premature infants in the NICU for feeding needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Therapist
• Active BLS Certification
• Valid California License
• Ability to perform modified video swallow studies
• COVID vaccine required
• Must follow crisis protocols

Work Details

• Unit: Speech Therapy
• Number of patients treated per day: 9-10
• Shift: 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM
• Schedule includes 1 weekend per month
• Dress code: Dark pants and burgundy polo shirt

Patient Population

• Primarily adult inpatient acute care
• Premature infants in NICU for feeding needs

• This is a travel contract position
