Job Opportunity: Speech Therapist (SLP)

Location: San Bernardino, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description

A hospital in California is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist for a travel contract. The role involves working primarily with adult inpatient acute care patients, as well as premature infants in the NICU for feeding needs.

Requirements

Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist within the last year
Active BLS Certification
Must follow crisis protocols
Experience with modified video swallow studies

Work Details

Unit: Speech Therapy
Number of patients treated per day: 9-10
Shift: 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM
Schedule includes 1 weekend per month
Dress code: Dark pants and burgundy polo shirt

Patient Population

Primarily adult inpatient acute care
Premature infants in NICU for feeding needs

This is a travel contract position
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
