Description
Job Opportunity: Speech Therapist (SLP)
Location: San Bernardino, California
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Job Description
A hospital in California is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist for a travel contract. The role involves working primarily with adult inpatient acute care patients, as well as premature infants in the NICU for feeding needs.
Requirements
- Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist within the last year
- Active BLS Certification
- Must follow crisis protocols
- Experience with modified video swallow studies
Work Details
- Unit: Speech Therapy
- Number of patients treated per day: 9-10
- Shift: 8-hour shifts starting at 8 AM
- Schedule includes 1 weekend per month
- Dress code: Dark pants and burgundy polo shirt
Patient Population
- Primarily adult inpatient acute care
- Premature infants in NICU for feeding needs

- This is a travel contract position
