Role Overview

ER RN assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana
13-week contract
Shift: Days
36 hours per week
All shifts are possible

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
Current Indiana or compact RN license
BLS (AHA only)
ACLS (AHA only)
PALS (AHA only)
TNCC or ATCN required

Preferred Qualifications

NIHSS strongly preferred

Unit Details

Emergency Department with 40 rooms
Verified Level 2 Adult and Pediatric Trauma center
1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Responsibilities / Clinical Focus

Emergency Nursing

Additional Notes

Floating to other units/departments: No
Equipment used in the unit includes EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration
Dress code: Scrubs, Caribbean Blue
Orientation is mandatory for all 7 days
Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
Local rate applies within 50 miles of the facility
Call off policy allows the client to call off or cancel up to 24 hours for every 13-week assignment
