Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Oversee technical procedures, patient care, and workflows in the echocardiography laboratory.
• Assist physicians and sonographers in providing high-quality echocardiographic exams.
• Demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment.
• Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
• Document procedures accurately and completely.
• Cross-train to other divisions of cardiovascular services.
• Coordinate patient flow and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Ultrasound.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI).
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
• Positive attitude with a willingness to assess and improve the work environment.

Additional Information

• On-call required 1-2 days per week.
