Job Opportunity: RN-Diagnostic Cardiology

Location

Detroit, Michigan

Job Type

Full-time, 40 hours per week
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
Participate in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals.
Perform cardiac stress tests in the Cardio Non-invasive lab (expect 4-8 stress tests per shift).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Minimum 2 years of cardiology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
