Job Opportunity: ICU RN Nights and EOW - 36hrs

Job Description

• Position in a 20-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) with Medical/Surgical floating required.
• Patient population includes adults with conditions such as Substance Abuse/Overdose, severe Psychiatric conditions, DKA, Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, and Cardiogenic Shock.
• Attendings and Residents are present 24/7.
• Floating primarily to Medical/Surgical units with patient ratios varying by acuity.
• Rotating shifts for day positions; night shift is fixed.
• Charting system: EPIC.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), with at least some experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Experience working with adult patients in an inpatient setting.

Additional Information

• Night shift and every other weekend schedule, totaling 36 hours per week.
• Floating required to Medical/Surgical units.
• Patient ratios:

  • ICU: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity
  • Med/Surg float: 1:4 or 1:5
• On-site parking available.
