Role Overview

Level III NICU registered nurse position caring for critically ill and high-acuity neonates
Requires independent management of complex NICU patients, including those needing advanced respiratory support and therapeutic cooling

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (3 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
STABLE
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Key Clinical Experience

Care for premature, critically ill, and medically complex neonates
Manage infants requiring therapeutic hypothermia/cooling
Support patients needing ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen
Monitor and manage central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines, and other invasive devices
Administer and titrate IV medications, continuous infusions, TPN, and blood products
Participate in neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
Recognize and respond to neonatal deterioration and emergencies

Additional Notes

Previous travel experience is preferred
Additional certifications may be required based on facility policy
