Role Details

• Float to other Medical-Surgical / Telemetry units as needed
• Telemetry monitoring on the unit is required
• Cares for adult medical, surgical, and cardiac patients
• Patient ratio is 1:6, with flexing up to 1:7 when necessary
• Every other weekend required
• Self-scheduling and blocked scheduling are allowed
• Black scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Float pool experience
• PCU / Step Down experience

Additional Notes

• No first-time travelers for float
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• No radius restriction
