Neuro ICU

Overview

  • Travel/Contract RN role in Aurora, Colorado.
  • 13-week assignment.
  • 24-bed Neurosurgical ICU in a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level I Trauma Center.
  • High-acuity, fast-paced surgical ICU.
  • Floating as required, including to sister facilities in the METRO Region per facility needs.
  • Day and night rotation, various days of the week.
  • Weekend requirement: yes, per unit needs.
  • On-call: no.
  • Ratio: 1:2.
  • Scrub color: Navy.
  • Charting: Epic.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Neuro ICU (2 years of experience).
  • Neuro ICU experience within the last year.
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association.
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association.
  • NIHSS.

Preferred

  • First-time travelers are accepted if required experience is met.
