Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Issaquah, Washington
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
36 hours per week
Contract options: 13 or 26 weeks
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Floating may be required to postpartum and possibly another labor and delivery unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
FHM
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Unit Details

Labor and delivery unit with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
Handles labor and preterm labor
Responsibilities include circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low-risk antepartum, and low-risk labor and delivery
Staff-to-patient ratio: 1:1–3
Unit supports blood and blood product administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vacs, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Delivers care for all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
Also supports GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery
