Overview

Required Qualifications

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid RN license in California
  • Telemetry experience within the last year
  • 1 year of telemetry experience
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or RQI
  • NIHSS
  • Experience with Epic

Preferred

  • CPI is listed as preferred in the source

Schedule

  • 3 days per week
  • Sunday–Saturday scheduling
  • Nights

Additional Notes

  • Unit-specific competency testing is required
  • Medication/calculation testing is required for RNs
  • Arrhythmia recognition testing is required for Telemetry nurses
  • Signed HIPAA acknowledgement is required
  • Signed confidentiality agreement is required before start
  • TB symptom review is required before start
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start and updated annually
  • Fit testing within 1 year of start and renewed annually
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
  • Flu vaccination or declination is required by the stated deadline
  • References: 2 required within 1 year of start in the current specialty
