Overview

- Hours per week: 36

- Block scheduling may be accommodated
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend
- On-call not required
- Floating within scope is not required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Critical care experience within the last 12 months
- Experience with adult trauma and burns patients
- Experience with medically and neurologically complicated patients
- Experience with tracheostomy patients
- Experience with spinal cord injury patients
- Experience with complex sleep disordered breathing
- Ventilator management
- Adult ICU experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric experience preferred
Clinical Experience / Patient Population
- Experience with adult trauma and burns
- Experience with medically and neurologically complicated patients
- Experience with tracheostomy patients
- Experience with spinal cord injury patients
- Experience with complex sleep-disordered breathing
- Experience with trauma and adult ICU patients
- Patient populations include BPICU, SICU, MICU, and NSICU
Additional Job Details
- Must work all scheduled shifts
- Scheduling requests outside approved time off cannot be accommodated
- Unit sees patients of all ages, with a small pediatric population
- Busy ED with ECLS transfers
