Role Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Seattle, Washington.
- 13-week assignment.
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00.
- Open to first-time travelers.
- May float to other campuses, including Swedish Issaquah.
- Patient age group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics.
- Patient volume/load: 5 ventilators, 6–8 RVUs.
- Unit/setting includes 500 rooms.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in Washington
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience in a Critical Care setting
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Pulmonary Function Test Lab experience
- Servo I ventilator experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Pulmonary Function Test Lab experience.
Additional Notes
- Previous permanent employees of any Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify.
- Screen if no NICU experience.
- Call out if no NRP.
- Scrubs: any.
- Weekend coverage is variable.
