MICU Travel/Contract RN Job

• 4x12 hours
• 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1.5 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• Travel experience

Unit Details

• 40-bed, fast-paced, high-acuity ICU
• Target patient ratio: 1:2-3
• Bedside procedures include endoscopy, bronchoscopy, trach, and G-tube placement
• Frequently recovers patients immediately post-op
• Special equipment includes ICP monitoring, arterial lines, Flotrac monitoring, BIS, and train-of-four

Work Expectations

• Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday
• First to float at the facility’s discretion
• May float to other medically appropriate units, including high-risk respiratory/COVID care areas

Additional Notes

• Navy blue scrubs required
• N95 fitting is required before working on the unit unless PAPR is offered or needed
• Requests for time off must be submitted with the initial application; no time off will be added after an offer is made
