Location

Toledo, Ohio

Job Details

Travel/contract role
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
48 hours per week
Contract length: 19 weeks
First-time travelers accepted
No local travelers within 50 miles
Floating required within the metro region as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
Registered Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Experience working with Adult patients
Experience working with Geriatric patients
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Experience with Epic

Clinical Experience and Skills

Adult critical care
Emergency department
Airway management and suctioning
Extubation
Pulmonary hygiene
Sputum specimen collection
Bronchoscopy care
Medication administration and delivery
Nebulizer therapy
Oxygen therapy
Ventilator management
Assist in high-risk deliveries
ABG interpretation

Additional Notes

Grey scrubs
Must be willing to float between Toledo, Flower, and Bay Park hospitals
Changing tubing and bags for invasive and arterial lines is preferred responsibility on Toledo and Bay Park campuses

The schedule was 8 hours days the schedule had no flexibility. I used 1 sick day as provided in my contract and they immediately contacted my agency to complain
