Labor and Delivery Nurse

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12 hours
19:00–07:30
Every 3rd weekend
Holidays required
On-call not required
Rare floating to NICU as helping hands

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
First-time travelers not accepted
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Must be able to circulate own C-Section

Preferred Qualifications

AWHONN Intermediate
ACLS

Additional Notes

Strong labor and delivery experience is needed
The role also includes LDRP and high-risk/antepartum patients
Local candidates are not accepted; must live at least 50 miles away from all CHN facilities
Parking is free
