Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring strong labor nursing skills and the ability to independently circulate C-sections.
Details
- Work in an LDRP unit that also covers High Risk and Antepartum patients
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (1900–0730)
- Every 3rd weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Occasional floating to the NICU in a helping hands capacity
- Holiday coverage expected
Requirements
- Active Indiana (IN) or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
- Preferred certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
- Must be able to independently circulate C-sections
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from all facility locations to be eligible
Additional Information
- Strong labor nursing skills are essential, as the primary need is in the labor and delivery area
- Unit also manages high-risk and antepartum patients in addition to standard LDRP cases
- Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, though the unit will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests
- Scrub color required: Seal Blue
- No parking costs associated with this position
