Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Shift: Day shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday
- Weekend Requirement: No
- On-call: Not anticipated, only as needed
- Block Schedule: Not accommodated
- Floating: Required to float within scope across units and sites; refusal may result in contract cancellation
- Locals: Not accepted within 50 miles of any facility
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital, Adult Level I Trauma, Teaching hospital
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: Free in unrestricted spaces, EV charging available
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS certification
- State License (OBMI)
Compliance & Screening Requirements
- Criminal background check (7-year search minimum; lifetime search for pharmacy placements)
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year prior to start; annual TB questionnaire required
- Immunizations or immunity documentation required for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (immune titer and vaccine series or signed declination)
- Varicella
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years or signed declination (Td not accepted)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination required annually (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
- COVID vaccination documentation or declination required
- Negative 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Respirator medical clearance required annually unless no patient contact
Additional Requirements
- Two professional references (supervisory or above) within 3 years of start date
- Finalized Return to Office (RTO) schedule must be submitted with application
- No RTO allowed within the first week of assignment; maximum 7 days RTO per assignment
- Mandatory cancellation requires 1.5 hours notice before shift start; one mandatory cancellation allowed per two-week pay period without penalty
Notes
- Daily caseload per tech is unknown
- Scrub color: Any color except all black or camo print
- Facility provides scrubs for OR/L&D/Cath Lab
- Floating acknowledgment form must be signed prior to start
This position is ideal for experienced CT Technologists with Siemens and IV skills who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, acute care teaching hospital environment and willing to float as needed.
