Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT CT certification for a 3x12 day shift contract at an acute care, Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 539 staffed beds, designated as a Level I Trauma center and teaching facility
- CT Scan unit within a Radiology/Cardiology department
- 3x12 hour day shifts; Monday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, Tuesday 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- No regular weekend requirement; on-call not anticipated but may be required as needed
- Charting performed in Epic
- Floating within the facility and across the health system is required per facility policy — refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from any facility within this health system to be eligible
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (CT), BLS, and Oregon state license (OBMI) required — license required if applicable
- Siemens CT scanner experience required
- IV skills required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
Additional Information
- Travelers must complete any assigned education within one week of starting the assignment
- Scrubs may be any color except all black or camouflage print; the facility can provide scrubs for CT/X-Ray Techs
- Free parking is available in any unrestricted space, with EV charging on-site
- Finalized RTO must be submitted with your profile for consideration; no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 7 days of RTO total per assignment
- COVID vaccination documentation is required with no exemptions accepted
- Copies of certifications and at least one professional reference are required for consideration
